In 2020 my wife, who is a mental health therapist, decided to open her own practice. There were so many things that needed to be done outside of treating patients that I accepted the task of finding someone to build the practice website. I contacted multiple companies trying to find one we could afford, but each quote seemed to be getting more expensive. It was a frustrating experience. They all appeared to be targeting large companies with deep pockets.

In 2020, like everyone else, I found myself stuck at home with a lot of extra time on my hands. I have never dealt well with boredom so I decided to research how to build a website. The website turned out extremely well and I discovered I enjoyed the process of collaboration and design. When I designed the site I included (Designed by Peder Hanson) in the footer of the page. To my surprise people started contacting me about the possibility of my helping them with their sites.

The difficulties I experienced while trying to figure out how to set up a website for my wife’s business made me want to help other small business owners. I started offering design services so business owners can have a quality website they can afford while focusing on the parts of their business they are passionate about.
